We are headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, with regional KRAFTON offices located across the globe.
Our Amsterdam office is home to KRAFTON Europe, with several key product and publishing teams focused on Western markets based here, along with our Esports team. It is also home to the Black Budget development team, who are busy working on our upcoming new title.
The WEST Publishing team is responsible for driving regional publishing strategy, player growth, brand strength, and long-term engagement for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS across Western markets.
This role sits under the WEST Publishing Lead and is expected to operate with strong individual ownership, sound judgment, and the ability to shape player engagement practices in line with current and future industry standards.
Community and player engagement are critical drivers for WEST. This role is responsible for building stronger player loyalty, retention, advocacy, and regional community growth through strategic, insight-led, and outcome-driven engagement initiatives.
Basic Roles and Responsibilities :
· Define and drive the WEST player engagement and community growth strategy across (Americas EMEA)
· Develop programs that strengthen player loyalty, advocacy, retention, and emotional connection to PUBG.
· Align player engagement initiatives with publishing campaigns, product updates, creator activity, esports moments, and brand activations.
· Track and turn player feedback, sentiment, market signals, and regional insights into actionable recommendations.
· Collaborate with Brand, Marketing, Product, Social, Esports, Influencer, Legal, Regional Publishing, and Global teams.
· Establish clear standards for community planning, reporting, prioritization, and impact measurement.
· Use AI tools to improve research, insight generation, reporting, planning, documentation, and workflow efficiency.
Required experience:
· Some year of experience in community management, player engagement, publishing, live service games, digital communities, or a related field.
· Strong understanding of live service player behavior, community growth, retention, loyalty, and advocacy.
· Strong project management, stakeholder management, and written communication skills in a global or cross-functional environment.
· Ability to turn player feedback, sentiment, regional insights, and market trends into clear recommendations and action plans.
· AI fluency, with the ability to use AI tools to improve research, analysis, reporting, planning, documentation, and workflow efficiency.
· High ownership, sound judgment, and the ability to independently drive outcomes from strategy to execution.
“Nice to have” experience:
· Experience working on PC or console live service games in global or regional game publishing organizations.
· Experience working with Discord, Reddit, Steam, Twitch, YouTube, and regional community channels.
· Experience supporting large-scale campaigns, product updates, esports moments, or brand activations.
· Strong understanding of PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, battle royale communities, and competitive multiplayer player behavior.
