Role Overview
As the Operational Manager for CGF, you will be the key leader responsible for the end-to-end fulfillment operations across all CGF warehouses. You will oversee all physical activities—from inbound receiving and inventory management to picking, packing, and outbound dispatch. Your mission is to ensure operational excellence, high-level efficiency, and strict adherence to SLAs, while scaling operations to handle peak season surges.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Fulfillment Oversight
·
Operational Execution: Lead the daily operations of all fulfillment centers, ensuring seamless execution of inbound (receiving/put-away), inventory control, and outbound (picking/packing/shipping) workflows.

KPI Management: Own and drive key operational metrics, including Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA), order fulfillment rates, and on-time shipment performance.
·
Resource Optimization: Strategically allocate manpower, equipment, and consumables based on volume forecasts to maximize productivity and cost-efficiency.
2. Quality, Compliance, and Safety
·
SOP Development: Design, implement, and continuously refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent, high-quality operations across all global sites.

Incident Management: Establish rapid-response mechanisms for operational exceptions (e.g., lost/damaged packages, mis-shipments) and drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrence.

Safety Standards: Ensure all warehouse facilities strictly adhere to 5S methodology and local workplace health and safety regulations.
3. Vendor Stakeholder Management

3PL Performance: Conduct regular audits and performance reviews of third-party logistics (3PL) partners to ensure they meet the company’s stringent quality requirements.

Cost Control: Monitor and optimize operational expenses, identifying opportunities to reduce Cost Per Unit (CPU) through process improvements and lean management.
4. Digital Transformation Innovation

System Proficiency: Leverage WMS (Warehouse Management System) and data dashboards to perform real-time monitoring and predictive analysis.
Basic Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years of experience in warehouse management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within large-scale e-commerce fulfillment (e.g., Amazon FBA, JD Logistics, or equivalent).

Proven Track Record: Experience managing peak season operations (e.g., 11.11, Black Friday) with high-pressure, high-volume requirements.
·
Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in WMS/TMS logic, lean manufacturing principles, and Six Sigma methodology.
·
Data-Driven: Ability to translate complex data into actionable operational insights.
·
Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership and cross-functional communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders and manage remote teams.

Language: Japanese. Fluency in both Japanese and English, or Korean/Chinses is better for global collaboration.
